Meet Maggie! The newest Ella's Lead family member!
 If you didn't catch Maggie's story on our facebook page, she and three of her litter mates were dumped in a 5 gallon bucket in front of Chicago Animal Care and Control when they were 4-5 weeks old. It's a Pittie Rescue was called and came to pick up the little ones and placed them in a foster home. Turns out, the pups were infected with parvo-all four of them-and foster mom caught it early enough that all survived. While sick with parvo, Maggie was also sick with bordatella. Poor girl was so sick and barely 3 lbs.! Maggie and her siblings are all pit bull puppies. Maggie is approximately 9 weeks (almost 10) and on Monday at the vet she weighed in at 8 lbs. 9 oz. She has demodex pretty bad, but she is currently being treated. We were not looking to add another dog to our family. And we were definitely not looking to add a puppy. But we met Maggie and fell in love. She is such a well adjust puppy, and she just won our hearts. And we are definitely in puppy love. Who couldn't love those ears???? And that mange-y head? And those soulful eyes that say, "I've already lived an entire life and am wiser than my nine weeks of life."?? In celebration, we have chosen to run a sale!
